Trichocereus hybrid cv. 'Z03' (possibly also known as 'Vista 03' or 'Tinoco'): This appears to be a Trichocereus hybrid, meaning it's a crossbreed between two different Trichocereus species or varieties.
Origin: It's described as deriving from an un-labelled batch of Misplant seed from around 2017-2018. Misplant is an "old-school and highly-respected American Trichocereus hybrid breeder." The original mother plant lost its label during a relocation, leading to the "random moniker" 'Z03' to distinguish these genetics.
Genetics: It's broadly described as being somewhere between Trichocereus pachanoi and Trichocereus peruvianus. There's also a suggestion that it might have been one of Misplant's Trichocereus huanucoensis crosses.
Appearance: It has a "deep-to-mid-green epidermis."
Cultivation: Like most Trichocereus cacti, it's considered "really easy to grow indoors or outdoors in USDA Hardiness Zones 8-11." It requires free-draining, mildly acidic to mildly alkaline soil, and sufficient light, nutrients, and water. It has reportedly survived short periods of minor frost.
Availability: It's available as healthy, rooted plants cloned from the original mother plant.
Flower: The flowers are described as white to whitish.
It's important to note that "cv." stands for "cultivar," which is a plant variety that has been produced in cultivation by selective breeding. The name "Vista 03" (or "Z03") is a specific name given to this cultivated variety to distinguish it from others.
