A resilient and low-maintenance "Rare Cactus" relative, it thrives in bright light and requires very little water, making it an ideal choice for busy plant parents. Whether grouped in a cluster or standing alone, its sculptural form adds a bold, prehistoric touch to any sun-drenched space.

About Indian Corn Cob (Euphorbia mammillaris)
This plant is a small, dioecious succulent shrublet native to South Africa. It is known for its thick, deep green, erect stems that are ribbed and covered in squarish or hexagonal tubercles, which give them a resemblance to corn cobs. In its monstrose form, it branches more extensively, creating dense clusters.
  • Sap: Like all Euphorbias, it contains a white, milky latex sap that can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions upon contact; it should be handled with gloves.
  • Care: It thrives in bright sunlight and well-draining soil. It is extremely drought-tolerant and should be watered only when the soil is completely dry.
  • Spines: The stems are covered in tiny, spine-like structures that can develop reddish tones under sun or stress.
